I love supporting local but I don’t tend to post a lot about Columbus here on my blog because I know many of my readers live all over the world. That doesn’t mean that I don’t love my city. I REALLY love my city. We have the most amazing food scene, such talented artists and hardworking entrepreneurs. So if you’re living alongside of me in the midbest OR you just like these amazing items – order now! They’d make fabulous Christmas gifts.

I tried to buy about 50% of my gifts locally this year! It definitely makes me feel better supporting local businesses. Need to do it more often!!

That’s awesome! I think we did about 70% this year but I’m not done yet. Day-to-day we usually keep it local though.

I love Danielle’s comment and have really started paying more attention to local, as well as handcrafted, vendors this year. I need to think about maybe doing a similar 50% approach to birthday gifts in the new year! Love this board – Thanks for sharing!

So glad I stumbled upon your blog! My boyfriend is actually from Columbus, but I’ve never been. Looks like I have a vehicle to learn more about his hometown — looking forward to follow along.
Ps- Love the confetti glassware!

My boyfriend went to Ohio State and every few months he asks if we can move to Columbus. He loves it! I’m not completely against it because there seem to be some really great things coming out of the city.
Kurt also LOVES Homage. I swear 90% of his t-shirt collection is from there. Great collection of Cbus items!
