Here’s My Card

I kept it simple. My logo? Not perfect. Some of the serifs are a little off and it has no rhyme or reason. But, I like it like that. I wanted to be able to hand someone my card (maybe scribble something on the back) and allow them to get a sense of how I work. Or how my brain works? Too deep?

Also, like my Barbie Pink nail polish?

It’s All About Presentation

Around mid-March I’ll be teaming up with The Rogue Magnolia to photograph my printed pieces. I’m excited about her creativity and extremely talented approach to photography. Here are a few pieces that have inspired me when it comes to my future shoot! Obviously they’re all very different so I’m considering having a separate section where I showcase my wedding invitations as separate events and sets. So much to think about!

From Keetra

I’ve always had the biggest design crush on Keetra Dean Dixon. The pieces I’ve featured above are a part of a project. Check out all her work here. AMAZING! Seriously, I’m her biggest admirer.

Adam&Co.

This project caught my eye over on Adam&Co.‘s portfolio site. Plus- my husband’s name is Adam so I’m a bit biased.

I stumbled across Andreas Neophytou‘s personal work the other day and I could not stop admiring every piece of work.

Monday Link Love

Greetings, pals. I hope you all had lovely fall-like weekends. It was chilly here and I loved it. Enjoy the links. And always feel free to post some of your favorite links as well.

- I’ll always be drawn to chalkboard walls. We had a small chalkboard wall in our old place and it was a lot of fun. Not too hard to cover either.

- I’m not a big “game person” but I would be willing to give these Typeface Memory Cards a try.

- Graphic designer Emma Robertson’s style reminds me of my own. Love her business cards!

- I loved shopping at Topshop in London. Here’s a look at their makeup line. So cute.

- Six Impossible Things, reposted by Sharon (who’s blog I adore).

- Sonya shared Lonnie Webb’s work on her blog. So beautiful.

- A gridulator? Yes!

- I love this weekend DIY.

- Stunning image above from Kim Holtermand’s Tuve (found over at Teen Angster)

Monday Link Love

- A wonderful, fresh approach to scrapbooking. Love it.

- I found a link to this awesome Mad Men photoshoot. It may be old but how gorgeous is January Jones?

- Adorable correspondence set.

- TCBY gets a new look.

- I love Ashley Meaders work. Her work was used in Max and Margaux’s wedding. Brilliant.

- Have you heard of We Are Hunted? Check it out.

- Richard Renaldi’s work. Touching Strangers.

- And I’m so excited to see Urbanized next year! If you haven’t seen Helvetica or Objectified…do it.
