Daily Occurrences

A day-to-day look at what I do everyday. I go to work (not pictured) I workout, we make dinner, I sit at my messy desk and design. Oh and I get to hang out with the cutest pup ever. I have about 10 shots left on my Canon A-1. I’ll probably get the film developed on Sunday or Monday. I can’t wait to see how the roll turns out!

Daily Occurrences

What have I been up to? I’ve been working a lot, I’m doing P90X (although I missed a few days during my mini birthday vacation from life), enjoyed a family visit, I’ve been appreciating the great food here in Columbus (seriously…we have really great restaurants), and of course I’ve been cuddling with two of the cutest pups ever. Oh also, I love smoothies. And Adam.

Daily Occurrences (Weekend Style)

A few shots from this past weekend. Sadly, we weren’t able to go up to Chicago as planned. Adam’s car got hit awhile ago and the person drove off without giving us their information and my car’s breaks suddenly needed fixing. Of course, it seems like when one of our vehicles has an issue…the other one gets jealous and starts acting up. Oh well, we’re rescheduling our trip for this month and instead we had a lazy weekend at home. Saturday was the first day in awhile without any signs of rain and so we threw open the windows and spent a lot of time outside in the sun. Sunday was just as lazy although I did work out. I’m doing P90X and I had a bit of a traumatic experience. I hooked up the bands to the top of the door to do the pseudo chin ups and since the door wasn’t completely shut…the entire band flew back and hit me in the face. Yes, I cried. Desh was attentive to me the rest of the day. I think he worries about me.

The last week has included a lovely dinner date with my husband (LOBSTER!), saying goodbye to a pal, fondue at our friends’, new reads, locking myself out of our apartment, lots of walks with Desh, and working!

Daily Occurrences

Life. Has. Been. Crazy. In all the good ways.

Since the last weekend in March I feel like I’ve been running around at 120 miles per hour. We’ve moved, seen both our families, dealt with car issues, my BEST FRIEND HAD HER BABY, we’ve made time for our social lives, I launched my new site, I’ve been taking on a lot of fun projects (updates soon) aaaand have been eating really good pizza and drinking delicious drinks. I have great posts lined up for this week so stay tuuuuned!

Daily Occurrences

What a lame assortment of photos for this Daily Occurrences. This past week has been busy, busy, busy. When will it slow down? Summer? Do I still get a summer break? No? Okay. Last Sunday we were able to see our wonderful friend Bri get baptized after we discovered that we have MICE. Ew to the max. Of course, my little Desh is still rolling around totally unaffected by the issue at hand. I’ve been spending my lunch breaks looking at new apartments and we found something on Wednesday. Horray! More details to come later. For now – I will enjoy this weekend and get ready for my trip to Vegas! Happy Weekend!

Daily Occurrences

I’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Hence, only iPhone photos to share this Sunday. It shouldn’t be that much harder to grab my camera but alas…it is. Here are a few bits of the past week when I’ve actually relaxed. Busting out my heels (and…gasp…my bare legs) to eat at The Refectory with some lovely ladies, taking a break to get my nails done, reading through Bad Marie in literally two days, sketching and creating a print for the Valentine’s Day show, eating my delicious Thai Burrito from Northstar TWICE in one week, and enjoying those moments right before bed when Adam is reading and Desh wants to play.

Daily Occurrences

Too many photos? I don’t know the etiquette of photo posting but there you have it. This pretty much sums up the past week. I went into a Half Priced Books for the first time in my entire life. I wish I had a separate bank account strictly for books and records (and maybe a few VHS tapes?) I had to visit Dirty Franks to try their Franksgiving dog (mashed potatoes and stuffing. hells yes). A new Jeni’s opened about 5 minutes from our house. It’s gorgeous inside and they have a new seasonal flavor called, “Sweet Potatoes with Toasted Marshmallows!!!!” (I added the exclamation marks.)

I’ve been sketching out our Christmas card design for this year. A few of us on Twitter are starting a local Christmas card mailing list and I’m so excited. I also have been enjoying a few dance parties ever since Girl Talk’s All Day came out last week. I think I hurt my shoulder while dancing but it’s totally worth it. And Desh has been as cute as ever. There’s my update. What have you been up to? If you’re a regular reader of my bloggity blog, leave a comment so I can say hi or follow YOUR blog.

Four Fun Days

I spent the weekend with one of my best friends and my family. It was so wonderful and hopefully I can get back into the swing of things. Here are a few of my favorite snapshots from the weekend.

[from top to bottom: bff Kellyn Walker, my dog Desh (who just turned 1 years old!) and my parents puppy Veda, me and my appreciation for the color periwinkle]

Cone of Sadness

I’ve been a bit distracted with some big life decisions and with my poor little Desh being neutered. As you can see, it’s more like a cone of sadness. Anyways, I’ll hopefully be posting more regularly so come by again tomorrow!
