Circa Modern

All pieces found on Circa Modern‘s site. I love their bio:

I love this stuff, as much, if not more than anyone. I travel and seek out quality pieces that I feel will make fantastic additions to your home, office or studio. I am passionate at what I do and I love doing it. Each piece is carefully restored to it’s original condition in my studio. I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I do.

If you’re in the Chicago area…you should check it out!

A Fresh Start

We will be moving into a new (but old) apartment in April. I love fresh starts and I’ve been bookmarking and pinning inspiration for awhile now. Once we start making the move, I’ll be sure to share photos and references to our purchases. My theory on any home decoration is that he doesn’t need to be expensive to be beautiful but I do understand the idea of investing in a good piece once in awhile.

1) Obviously April bring about showers and so I’m in the market for the perfect entry room rug. 2) This chair is splendid, although white furniture scares the crap out of me. Just like white pants. Guaranteed spill. 3) I’ve linked to this little cot before and perhaps it’s not comfortable at all but it’s so cute. We won’t have a guest room in our new place and so I’m trying to think of alternative solutions for guests. Just treat them to a hotel? 4) I love this piece for storing dishware and other miscellaneous things. Of course, glass doors mean that everything should probably stay organized. 5) I love this style of headboard but I feel that it needs to be black or grey in order for my husband to approve. 6) The mirror! Oh how I love the mirror!! 7) This rocking chair has such a retro/casual look that I really enjoy.

Lastly, some pieces that we may actually purchase. 8) Icosa Lamp by Kelly Lamb 9)NORDEN Gateleg table by IKEA 10) KARLSTAD Loveseat and chaise lounge by IKEA

Monday Link Love

This Monday Link Love is dedicated to my dream house. I’m assuming that it exists somewhere since I would have no desire to build a house of my own. So, here’s to you housey.

- I’m not sure when wallpaper got cool again but I jumped on board. I love the first image in this post. Great pattern and contrast.

- Yes, actually my dream house could very well be a tree house.

- Holy bed, chandelier and wood galore. I love it.

- A great resource I stumbled upon with lots of great photos of rooms, layouts, and inspiration. The featured photo in this post was found there.

- Are you on Pinterest? If so, follow this LIVING board.

- I like the way these photos are arranged.

ENJOY!
