I thought I’d post some recent work that is nearing the final stage. I post a lot of rough drafts and comps on my Facebook page but sometimes forget to post it here. I try to keep a balance between my blog and my Facebook page. I like to post similar content in case I have a different audience but also keep it different for variety.

I have officially left my full-time [office] day job in hopes that a recent new opportunity will work out within a few weeks. In between then, I’d love to book more freelance projects to keep me busy and to keep food on my table. It’s not easy giving up stability for family, relationships, beliefs, and creativity but it sure does feel good.

Just completed the first pieces for the branding of a salon in the Los Angeles area. These are the approved designs for the business cards and a B&W flyer announcing the opening. Next will come the signage and web presence.

Just started working with a new client. A talented makeup artist from the LA area. Below is the front of her business card. Designs will include lots of lace+pinks+golds.  I will be expanding her identity through blog design and am excited to see it launched!

Finally got my business cards printed at Uprinting! I ordered one-sided full color 2×2 inch matte cards. Love them!
