Around the House

Lately I’ve been inspired by big tables and maps. These two photos say everything for me.

I might also add that I adore that little blue kitchen in the top photo (as well as the little bar cart/shelf over to the right). As far as the map goes, I recently received a modern Columbus map from These Are Things, but there’s something about topographic maps that amaze me. I’m surrounded by them while working for the Department of Natural Resources so I’m keeping my eye out for one. What inspires you when thinking about your current or future home?

Table photo found on Bliss. Map photo found on The Brick House.

Currently drawn towards stripes, landscape orientations, and lines. Straight across.

Luke Miller Buchanan

I saw Luke Miller Buchanan’s work over on Please Sir and I want one for one of my bare walls!
