Monday Link Love

Still no Internet at our new place so my link love is rather short this week! I thought, while I’m searching out my favorite home decor, that I’d share with you! Enjoy and PLEASE comment with links to your favorite online shops when decorating your cozy casa. The image above is one of my favorite prints over at Urban Outfitter’s Print Shop!

- Loving this rug.

- These beds are amazing! I want one of each please.

- Of course you can’t go wrong with Etsy. It amazes me that some people still have never heard of it. Spread the love, people!

- If you’re in Chicago, check out Salvage One for me. And then share your finds!

- I love their books. They have great details to add to your office and home.

- A fellow Columbus tweeter sent me the link to this shop. And another tweeter sent me this link to Muji.

Sorry for the short link post! Still getting settled into our new place and the Internet is scarce!

Monday Link Love

It’s my first day back after a 7-day Twitter hiatus and I’m feeling refreshed and accomplished. Last week I finished the piece above for a past client. King Kong meets Elvis. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Here are some links to start off your week:

I’m currently working with five engaged couples to create their perfect wedding invitation set. I stumbled across these the other day and loved the size and richness of the colors. When you design wedding invitations, it’s always such a treat to work with a bride who picks such snazzy colors.

These are on my birthday wish list. Mark your calendars, people. May 9th!

I want this clock so that I can give it to my sister. It reminds me of her.

Two of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen. Seriously. Watch them BOTH.

A great article by Seth Godin. I couldn’t agree with him more.

I am stalking as well. It also inspired me to buy a huge canvas and paint again.

I’m a new fan of Alex Kopps. Found here.

Why yes that is a 280 page booklet that I’m formatting for Franklin University. Very thankful for this big project! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I got to see one of my best friends get married and it truly was a celebration. Now it’s Monday and I thought I’d share some links:

Siscottstudio.com is absolutely breathtaking. I’m a new fan.

Kellyn sent me this link last week. A great article about on-site SEO.

Again…drooling over fonts here.

LOVE this veneer dresser project over at younghouselove.

In the market for some gorgeous art? Take a look at Kayla and Ashely‘s work.

Sorry the link list was a bit short! Check back tomorrow for a new MEET interview.

Monday Link Love

I promised myself on Saturday that I would try to be consistent with my Monday link sharing! So here you go:

The photos above are from my trip to England in 2007. Lately I’ve been wanting to go back. A lot.

I know POST 27 has been making the rounds in the blog world but if you haven’t checked it out…DO! Beautiful website design and amazing products.

I’ve been dreaming of nail polish this color. Now I know where to buy it. And this. Thanks for sharing Kate!

I perhaps have been LITERALLY drooling over this map. I think I shared this on Twitter but it’s worth repeating.

Adam shared Creativebe with me last week. Fun apps and a great way to store your recipes.

One of my favorite Flickr sets!

I’ve been designing custom and altering basic WordPress themes lately. This has been handy.

Lastly, I’ve been reading about Dr. Johanna Budwig’s Budwig Diet. My 12 year old sister was diagnosed with Celiac Disease/thyroid disorder last year and is currently taking on the flaxseed oil/cottage cheese supplement in her diet. I’m really excited about it and interested to see what happens. She’s only twelve years old but she has the maturity of an adult and she is one of the people I admire most.

Have a wonderful Monday!

Monday Update + Links

I don’t have any recent work to share. So much of my time has been dedicated to creating contracts, finalizing web content, meeting with future clients that I haven’t been designing. It could also have to do with the fact that I took three whole days off, left my computer at our apartment, and travelled to Indiana to spend time with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. It felt great. But I’m back and I thought I’d share some links:

I’m on Google Wave (add me: allielehman@googlewave.com) and I found 10 gadgets to make Google Wave more productive.

I want to serve these at a dinner party.

I’m itching for a vacation. Next stop: here.

This is amazing. Creative people in their creative spaces.

Found this site in my bookmarks…I need to use my Holga camera again. Anyone know if a good place to get film/prints in Columbus?

Wouldn’t mind doing a little shopping here.

That’s all I have for you this fine Monday. The image above is the streets of Gaylord, Michigan last winter. SNOW!

Monday Links

I hope this Monday is a start to a very short week for all of you! I had a wonderful weekend in Illinois and it was so refreshing to be with my family and close friends. But now I must work until another fun extended weekend. Enjoy these links and remember to be THANKFUL!

The painting featured above is one of Steve Kim’s. I love it.

A way in which children and adults can be creative together.

Does AOL’s new logo make anyone else cringe?

Let it snow.

I just bought this vintage Christmas tree topper. I wanted something with personality and this screams awesome.

I’ve been excited for this shop opening and now it’s here!

Some items that have made it onto my Christmas list this year are: these adorable banners, this bag, this necklace, and a trip to the beach.

Enjoy your Mondays and make it fun!

Links Galore.

DSC_0626Another Monday is here to stay. I feel like I just wrote a Monday link post. Oh well. I hope all your weekends were fab. Enjoy!

This blog hooked me as soon as I read the title…and the yummy recipes!

One of my best friends, Megan, is starting to blog through the alphabet. I hope she keeps it up. I do love it when a new post appears in my Google Reader.

This first shot is amazing. I can’t decide if I like the colors, her hair, her coat, or everything equally.

Really enjoyed looking through this portfolio.

Looking forward to this film.

These pieces are phenomenal. But then again, it probably won’t look as good on me since this gal has such amazing hair.

Stumped on what you should read next? Look no further.

I already have a winter coat, but if you don’t. Check these out.

Well that’s all I have. Image above is a painting I created last spring. Approximately 3×4 feet. Oil.

More links to start your week. I enjoyed my weekend but Adam was gone so it wasn’t as good as it could have been.

For Print Only just featured a really different, but awesome invitation design. I definitely don’t gravitate toward that shade of pink, but I really like this.

Also, can I get my Gocco back? After reading this, I never realized what I could have created with that little gem of a machine.

This video makes me laugh. so. much.

Has anyone used this resource?

Is this just a lame knock off of the Polaroid? I just love the white, clean design.

I’m going to start using the “Far Far Away” option.

Happy start-of-the-week.

I thought I would share some of my favs lately. Hope your Monday’s rocking.

Is it the color, the letterpress, or the wonderful overall gorgeous design? You decide.

Everything about this blog is great. I’d say, it’s something to write home about.

If I could hand pick my handwriting, I’d choose this style.

I want to frame this piece.

It’s not often that you find a bookcase that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

I don’t often get excited for “unveilings” but I’ve been pretty stoked about this for awhile now.

Make your Monday grand and pass it along.
