[An epic Bloody Mary, a visit from the Newsom duo, a visit back home, a portrait of Meghan, studio vibes and Wilson the pup]
I’m back to shooting film (I believe this was a roll of Kodak Ektar…my favorite!) but now I have to wait a full week for each roll to get developed. It seems as if Walgreens has abandoned their 1-hour development service. Who would have thought?! /sarcasm
I shoot pretty casually but I could see using something like Richard Photo Lab if I step up my game in the future. These are some shots from May and June 2016.

I’ve really been loving seeing your paintings on IG. I think your color choices are so fresh and inspiring. :)

I stopped using film when I was really young (a kid, most likely), so I never got the hang of it. But shooting film really has a magical touch to it. I love being able to shoot and see the photo I took right away, so I don’t think I’ll be going back to using film anytime soon… :)

I know it’s SO difficult to wait a whole week (or more) to see how it’s turned out. But it IS so magical.
