- When I have free time, I try to get ahead on blogging, read a book or watch a tv show!
- The highlight of my week was probably having 48 hours completely alone. Adam was gone and I had time to work, think and just be.
- My husband – most definitely – has influenced my life the most (of anyone I’ve ever met). For the better.
- I feel the most proud when I think about my brother and sister. They are amazing people and while they’re younger…they are my best friends.

SLEEP! I don’t get enough of it during the week. Also catch up on my fave TV shows and blog, of course!

My husband finished his very last class for his undergraduate degree! So proud!

When you have free time, what do you do? If I have some down time I’m usual resting, reading up on some of my favorite blogs or hanging out at my favorite coffee shop.
What was the highlight of your week? Becoming part of a new church, glory to God!
Who has influenced your life the most? My dad. Since I was a little, I’ve always been a daddies girl. I remember going on adventures through the woods and playing softball in the yard. I couldn’t have been more blessed by such a brillant father and I love how much he pushes me to follow my dreams.
When do you feel most proud? When my work is being shown somewhere. There is just something so special when you have your work hanging in a gallery.

When you have free time, what do you do?
I blog, shop (too much), take photos for twiggyavenue.com, hang out with my darling husband, chat & drink wine with girlfriends. And the list goes on. I love FREE time!
What was the highlight of your week? playing with my 3 year old niece. I adore that little 3 year old.
Who has influenced your life the most? My husband. I mean, I live with the guy. He’s my biggest cheerleader. He influences me to be better and go after my dreams.
When do you feel most proud? I think I’m most proud of the fact that I’m self-employed. I own a salon studio and have no regrets.

When you have free time, what do you do?
Oh, there are so many things I love putting into my free time – the typical reading, blogging, and hanging out with friends apply…but my favorite? Songwriting…hands down! Something about getting my hands on the steel and wood of my guitar and writing my heart in melody and lyric fills up that chunk of my soul that tells me to follow in the footsteps of the ultimate Creator!
What was the highlight of your week?
Right now I’m loving the sweet smiles of my 1 month old and dreaming with my husband about our new blog/recording! I love that life is made up of these little moments and bigger adventures…happiness comes in all shapes and sizes.
Who has influenced your life the most?
I’ve got to agree with Nadine that Jesus has touched my life in the most “influential” way possible…but on this side of heaven? Ihave to say my parents and my boys (husband, Nate and my two sons)…it is so obvious why God has placed me in this circle of people. We all fit together so perfectly (even in circumstances and relationships aren’t “perfect” all the time) and it’s clear that my best chance of doing true Kingdom-impacting work is alongside this little group of people!
When do you feel most proud?
Of myself? I would have to say when I’ve overcome an obstacle or seen some kind of character growth in my heart! I’d have to say my proudest moments thus far though have been because of my boys…when I see my toddler finding success with a new skill or learning a new word, or when I watch him interact gently with our newborn…my heart swells in ways I never knew it would.

We’re currently revamping our online space…settling into our niche and working on a redesign, so things are a little messy right now, but you can find us at http://www.chasing-eden.com – Our goal is to create an online space where we work through how to practically infuse faith and worship into our home and the hearts of our boys. We’re also using that space to chronicle our journey of writing and recording our first EP!

This is a wonderful idea. I ask a few questions of the people that read my blog (normally at the end of a post) however the few comments that I get all seem to come from my Mom!

Waking up to glorious sunshine today after so much spring rain.
Influenced my life the most:
Its that mother of mine. She taught me to hold my head high, keep my standards high and not take any crap from anyone. She shows me constantly how proud she is of myself and my brothers. And she grows a wicked vegetable garden.
Most proud:
When I tick something off the list that wasn’t actually on the list as I had been avoiding it for so long. When one of my students gets a skill sussed that had been difficult for them.

1) When you have free time, what do you do?
I tend to hole up in a good coffee shop somewhere, read through my RSS feed subscriptions, and down about 3-4 cups of joe. Or is it cup of joes? I think it’s the former.
Definitely the former.
2) What was the highlight of your week?
Not exactly a highlight, but definitely a watershed moment: losing my job due to cutbacks. I still have my writing that I do for two different sites, but this was my most steady source of income. Am I worried? Or course. Will I survive? Of course.
3) Who has influenced your life the most?
I was in martial arts for almost twenty years, and my instructor was sort of a brother/father figure. While we don’t really talk so much now, there are major pieces of who I am today that remind me of him; my laugh being one of them, as I forced myself to mimic his laughter when I was ten.
4) When do you feel most proud?
When I see a former youth group student of mine post something on Facebook/Twitter (I no longer live in the area, so these are my main sources of communication with them) that’s brave and vulnerable.
