Two Weeks Notice

For real. I quit my job last week and in about two weeks I’ll be 100% self employed. (!!!!!!!!!!!)

It still feels surreal. Putting in my two weeks was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I love the people that I work with and after almost 2.5 years I began to depend on the routine and stability. BUT I couldn’t be more stoked about what the future holds.

I’m so blessed to have an amazing 9 month part-time contract position with a studio here in Columbus lined up to make this transition even more exciting. The rest of my time will be devoted to working with my (fabulous) existing clients and bringing on new ones too (ahem…contact me here if you’re interested in working together).

My mind is reeling with all the possibilities and I’m excited to share all that I learn along the way.

    Get it girl!

I left my full-time desk job in early May! It was amazing! I completed my yoga teacher training a month later and am now two weeks into running my own little studio! It has been amazing….if you trust and make the leap, good things will come your way!

    Yay!!

Yes!! The fair starts Wednesday – maybe Thursday or Friday night? My friend Catherine will also be in town which will be fun!

  6. Congrats Allison. Big step, a little scary, but I would do the same thing. I could never work for someone else long term. Just too independent & I want to do my own thing.

You’re going to do some great things, I just know it!

      • I’m going to be doing some web troubleshooting type of work at the Mayo Clinic, which means no more commuting and a normal schedule.

Congrats! If anyone can do it, you can.

  22. Congrats Allie!

I vividly remember heading out of my own — at the time it was a scary feeling, but it has provided to have been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I wish you all the best. Certainly let me know if there is something I can do to help you.

Also, let me know if you’d like to grab coffee and talk shop now that your schedule is more flexible.
